Studies on factors involved in repetitive Flavescence dorée epidemics in Piemonte region and strategies to overcome them.
SUBPROJECT C : Proteomic analysis of Flavescence dorèe effects upon Nebbiolo and Barbera cultivar. Study concerning different variety sensitivity to infection and recovery.
The project is about comparative analysis of healthy grapevine proteins, infected by Flavescence dorèe and recovered, focusing attention on two different cultivars, Nebbiolo and Barbera, with different sensitivity to the infection. The aim is to obtain information, in order to improve our knowledge of grapevine defence mechanisms against diseases caused by phytoplasmas, also using studies of transcriptomic and bio-information technology.
