SELGE – Regional laboratory network

SELGE – Regional laboratory network for the selection, characterization and conservation of germplasm and prevention of the spread of economically relevant and quarantine pathogens

SELGE is a Project for the acquisition of innovative diagnostic instruments, to be used for the sanitary and genetic selection of mediterranean crops. The acquired tools will allow the diagnosis of plant viruses and pathogens , genomic identification and host-pathogen interaction, potentially multiplex automatized and highly sensitive, mainly in the investigation on newly introduced germplasm and for quarantine pathogens.
